THE ACCIDENT

    “ As I opened my eyes, I saw myself lying on a bed, probably a hospital bed with a cloth covering my body. I tried hard to remember my past, or clearly, the past few moments. I absolutely do remember my past, I am Lata and I am native to Uttarakhand (DehraDun, if to be clear). Suddenly, an image appeared in the front of my eyes, image of an accident. My thoughts began to revolve about this image; finally I came to the conclusion, that I had a terrible accident while I was travelling to Rishikesh with my family accompanying me. My mind was having a debate of whether I should go out and look for my husband and children or just lie on the hospital bed. I also did not know the exact time I had been here, but yeah I felt pretty healed up. There was no pain in my body so I decided to go out. HALLUCINATIONS

“You have no parents Alex! Only we are the ones, to whom you can consider as a guardian. So if you don’t want me to get mad at you, just never ever say that you have parents. You have to admit that god has not blessed you with parent’s love. You have only me and that woman standing over there, your aunt Lucy. Now just get the HELL out of here”, yelled Uncle Walt at Alex.
